Ok, so you stumbled on this page and now you would like to know what the hell this podcasting business is all about? Well, read on…
What is a podcast?
A podcast is an audio or video file that is distributed by subscription over the Internet for playback on mp3 players, personal computers and most types of mobile devices.
Podcasts are widely used by conventional media outlets as a way of distributing radio or TV programmes so that they can be listened to at any time after live broadcast. However, part of the initial appeal of podcasting is that it allows individuals to freely create and distribute their own media content.
The Nik-in-Paris Podcast is a personal journal with audio and video files that reflect different aspects of my life in Paris.
How can I listen to the Nik-in-Paris Podcast?
There are several ways to listen to my podcast:
1. You can visit my site www.nikinparis.com and view, listen and download media files that interest you. Below is a example of the interface that you will find below each audio file.

2. To automatically receive content when it is made available, you can subscribe using a feed aggregator.

This way you have nothing to do, each new media file is delivered to your computer as soon as it is made available.
You can choose either an online aggregator such as Google Reader or download a desktop application such as iTunes or Juice.
- For most aggregators you will need to enter the address of my RSS syndication feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/nikinparis
- For iTunes, use the following link to go directly to my subscription page in the iTunes Store.
3. Lastly, you can subscribe by e-mail using the form below. Each time my site is updated you will receive a short e-mail informing you of the changes.
