First of all, apologies for the downtimes that my site has been experiencing. You may have been unable to connect to nikinparis.com or download shows recently. My host assures me that they have taken steps to correct the source of the problem. Here is an extract from their message:

“…it appears that there is a very popular website on the same Web server that is saturating the connection, I have moved you to another Web server that is less crowded, you may notice some downtime while the server updates these changes but once it goes through your site will be more stable. Sorry for the inconvenience….”

The temperatures here in Paris just keep rising. Here is the forecast for today! I’m looking forward to escaping from the heat to Scotland next week. More on that soon…

And lastly, if you use the JuiceReceiver podcatcher to listen to my podcast you may be having difficulties downloading the latest shows. This is a known issue between Feedburner and Juice. You can find more information on the Feedburner support site.

  • Ouch!! That’s hot… Must be unbearable! Here’s the current temps for Paris at 1208 BST (1308 CET):

    Paris/Orly 33°C
    Paris/Le Bourget 33°C
    Paris/C. de Gaulle 33°C

I think Scotland will be a welcome respite:

    Glasgow AP 24°C
    Edinburgh AP 23°C
    Aberdeen/Dyce 20°C
